Workaway at IDEA: Skill Exchange and Collaboration

• Hosting Volunteers: Welcome international experts who can contribute to IDEA’s initiatives, such as website management, social media, newsletter content, and workshop facilitation.  
• Knowledge Exchange: Facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions where volunteers can offer their expertise in fields that support IDEA’s activities.  
• Skill Development: Create opportunities for volunteers to strengthen their professional skills while working on meaningful projects aligned with IDEA’s mission.  
• Program Evaluation: Regularly assess the impact of the Workaway program, gathering feedback from volunteers and identifying areas for improvement.  

Volunteer Responsibilities: 

• Assist with the management and updating of the website, ensuring it reflects current events and activities.  
• Help organize and promote community engagement workshops, including creating content for social media.  
• Provide support in preparing newsletters and monitor communication between IDEA and the Workaway community.  

Expert Responsibilities:  

• Manage and enhance IDEA’s digital presence, ensuring the website and social media reflect the organization’s core values and mission.  
• Facilitate educational workshops for members and volunteers, sharing your expertise in areas such as social media marketing or content creation.  
• Design and implement strategies for evaluating and improving the overall Workaway experience, ensuring the growth and success of the program.
